Hasland Gala was blessed with wonderful weather and a great family atmosphere this June. Many visitors chose to bring picnics and blankets whilst the hot food on offer outside and refreshments served indoor at the Village Hall were also well populated. Entertainment with a 1940s theme was provided by one of the singers from the excellent Daisy Belles group and there was a great mix of stalls offering goods to buy, useful information and things to try . There was also plenty to entertain the children such as the fairground attractions,climbing wall, heritage cars, Army and the Fire Service.  Congratulations to Friends of Eastwood Park organising committee who provided such a lovely day for those visitors both local and further afield.
